Dropped in here. These guys were super welcoming, Ryan let us join a mobility class when we turned up a bit early before a Strongman session where we got to play with some tyres and do other brutal stuff. Hands down the best gym i've been to. They know what they're talking about and really care about your goals - always going that extra mile to help get you there. You don't need to be ripped or shredded to do it, and with the variety of classes, they cater to everyone. Thanks to Elitsa and Jerome for their hospitality this week while we were traveling in Wellington! The best place for expertise in muscle gain, nutrition and fat loss. Did the 6 week challenge and lost 16.5kg. I was initially weary about starting as Id had a few injuries in the past but Elitsa, Nate and the team were experts in form while still pushing me each session even when I didn't know my own limits. Elitsa was a great help with creating a tailored nutrition plan, something that wouldn't leave me starving. Extremely friendly, even had team runs outside class. Then the Toa CrossFit Beginners Course is perfect for you!
Designed to teach you all the common movements & lifts used in CrossFit, applying the right technique, the CrossFit terminology & how to prevent injuries. The CrossFit Beginners Course consists of 4 sessions and runs over the period of 1 week. Each session will focus on 1-2 new skills + a CrossFit workout
These classes run in 8 block strength cycles where we work on specific percentages and drills to improve all your olympic lifts. Please check with the coach or at reception as to when the next cycle starts.
Courses focus on mastering, handstands, handstand walking, toes to bar, ring work, planches, muscle ups and much more.
This is an absolute must for any regular gym goer.
